This Disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service and must be read before purchasing or using any Radia Product. By placing an Order you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted it in full.

This Disclaimer applies in addition to, and does not replace, the instructions, warnings and safety information supplied with the Product. Where the supplied documentation is stricter, it prevails.

Radia Products are consumer beauty and wellness devices. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease, disorder or medical condition.

Statements on the Site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, the MHRA or any equivalent authority. No approval, clearance, registration or certification of therapeutic effect is claimed.

Our Products are not prescribed, dispensed or supervised by a clinician, and no clinical relationship arises between you and us.

Nothing on the Site — including product pages, Journal articles, quiz results, emails, social media posts and support replies — constitutes medical, dermatological, ophthalmological or other professional advice, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.

Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you have read on the Site. If you think you have a medical condition, consult a physician.

Our customer care team can answer questions about specifications, delivery and use of the device. They are not medically qualified and cannot advise on your suitability, medication, skin condition or treatment plan.

Timelines, statistics, percentages, before-and-after imagery, testimonials, reviews and references to research are illustrative only. They are not a promise of any outcome and do not form part of the contract.

Results vary significantly between individuals according to age, skin type and tone, condition treated, consistency and duration of use, adherence to instructions, concurrent skincare, hormones, health, medication, sun exposure, lifestyle and genetics.

Dissatisfaction with results is not a defect and is not grounds for a return or refund. See the Returns & Refund Policy.

Any testimonial or review reflects one individual’s experience, is not typical, is not verified by us as to outcome, and may have been given by a person who received the Product free or at a discount.

Do not use without medical clearance.Do not use any RadiaProduct without first consulting a qualified physician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive; have a history of epilepsy, seizures, or light-triggered migraine; or take any photosensitising medication, including isotretinoin, tetracyclines such as doxycycline, lithium, amiodarone, thiazide diuretics, certain antipsychotics, or St John’s Wort.

Eye conditions.Seek medical clearance if you have any eye condition, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal disease, uveitis, or have had recent eye surgery or an intraocular injection.

Photosensitivity disorders.Seek medical clearance if you have lupus, porphyria, solar urticaria, polymorphic light eruption, albinism or any other photosensitivity disorder.

Skin conditions and history.Seek medical clearance if you have a history of skin cancer, melanoma or precancerous lesions; active rosacea flare, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, cold sores, open wounds, sunburn, rash or infection in the treatment area; recent chemical peel, laser, microneedling, injectable or surgical procedure; or a keloid tendency.

Implants and devices.Seek medical clearance if you have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, cochlear implant, neurostimulator or any other implanted electronic device, or metal or filler implants in the treatment area.

Other circumstances.Seek medical clearance if you are undergoing or have recently completed cancer treatment, take immunosuppressants, have a thyroid condition affecting the eyes, or are otherwise advised to avoid light exposure.

Not for children.Products are not intended for use by anyone under 18 and must be kept out of reach of children and pets.

You voluntarily and knowingly assume all risk arising from purchase, possession, use and misuse of the Product, including skin irritation, redness, dryness, itching, burns, blistering, hyperpigmentation, breakouts, allergic or photosensitive reaction, eye discomfort, visual disturbance or injury, headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, sleep disturbance, electrical or thermal injury, and aggravation of any pre-existing condition.

You accept that the risk of an adverse reaction cannot be eliminated, that individual sensitivity cannot be predicted, and that no patch test or precaution guarantees safety.

This assumption of risk operates together with the release, liability limitations and indemnity in Sections 14 to 16 of the Terms of Service.

Read the supplied instructions in full before first use, follow the stated session duration and frequency exactly, and do not exceed recommended exposure in the belief that more is better.

Keep eyes closed throughout a session and use any supplied eye protection. Do not stare directly into the LEDs. Discontinue immediately if you experience visual disturbance.

Do not use on broken, irritated, sunburnt or infected skin, over tattoos in the treatment area without advice, or in combination with photosensitising topical products unless cleared by a physician.

Use only the supplied or an approved power supply. Do not immerse the device, use it in a bath or shower, use it while charging unless expressly permitted, cover it during use, or continue using a device with a damaged cable, casing or lens.

Do not modify, dismantle, repair, sterilise by heat, or attempt to replace components. Clean only as instructed and never with solvents or abrasives.

The Product is for single-user personal use. Sharing between users creates a hygiene risk and is not recommended.

Stop use and seek medical attention if you experience pain, burning, swelling, blistering, persistent redness, visual disturbance or any reaction that does not settle promptly. Do not resume without medical clearance.

Imagery on the Site is editorial and may not exactly represent the item you receive. Branding, packaging, colour, finish, accessory configuration, cable and connector type, controller design, printed documentation, labelling and country of manufacture may differ and may change without notice.

Stated wavelength, irradiance, LED count, battery life, session length, weight and dimensions are nominal and subject to normal manufacturing tolerance.

The item fulfilled to you will be functionally equivalent to the item advertised. Cosmetic and presentation differences do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for a claim.

Products may not be certified or approved for use in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local requirements at the destination.

References to studies, publications, practitioners, media outlets or other brands are for comparison and information only. They do not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship or partnership, and they are not a representation that any cited finding applies to our Products.

Research into light therapy is ongoing and its conclusions are contested in places. Any study referred to was conducted on its own protocol, device and population, which may differ materially from ours.

Journal and educational content is general information published at a point in time. It may become out of date, and we do not undertake to update it. It is not tailored to you.
