Which Radia Mask Is Right for You? An Honest Internal Comparison
Five devices, five different jobs. Only one is right for you.
February 5, 2025 · The Radia Atelier
We would rather you buy the correct device once than the wrong device twice. This is the internal comparison, written the way we would explain it in person — including the cases where a cheaper option in our own range is the better choice.
Start with your primary concern
Every Radia device uses evidence-based wavelengths. The difference is coverage, form factor and when you wear it. Choose by concern, not by price.
| Your main concern | The right device | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Fine lines, tone, overall anti-aging | Radia Halo | Full-face coverage with the core red and near-infrared stack |
| Breakouts plus early fine lines | Radia Lumen | Adds blue light for acne bacteria alongside red and near-infrared |
| Jawline, contour, overnight recovery | Radia Sculpt | Worn overnight, weighted toward deeper near-infrared |
| Neck, chest and décolleté | Radia Solène | Larger panel that covers the areas a face mask cannot |
| Design-led, everything Halo does | Radia Noir | Same clinical stack, more refined shell |
| You want the full protocol | The Atelier Set | Face, décolleté and overnight in one purchase |
Radia Halo — the default recommendation
If you are buying one device and your concern is aging skin, buy Halo. It is the flagship for a reason: full-face coverage, the 633 nm and 830 nm stack that carries the strongest evidence, ten-minute sessions, hands-free. Roughly two thirds of first-time buyers should stop reading here.
Radia Lumen — if your skin still breaks out
Lumen adds blue light to the core stack. That matters only if you get genuine inflammatory acne. If you do not break out, the additional modes are decoration and Halo is the better spend. If you break out and also worry about early lines, Lumen removes the need to own two devices.
Radia Sculpt — the overnight complement
Sculpt is not a replacement for a full-face mask. It is worn overnight and weighted toward deeper near-infrared for contour and recovery. Buy it as a second device, or as part of the Discovery Set, once you have established a face protocol.
Radia Solène — for everything below the jaw
The neck and chest age faster than the face and receive almost none of the attention. Solène is the panel that fixes that gap. It is the highest-leverage second purchase for anyone over forty.
Radia Noir — when the object matters
Noir performs identically to Halo. You are paying for the finish and the shell, not additional therapeutic capability. We would rather say that plainly than imply a performance gap that does not exist.
The sets, and when they actually save money
- The Discovery Set (Lumen + Sculpt) suits someone who wants both a day ritual and an overnight one from the start.
- The Atelier Set (Halo + Solène + Sculpt) suits someone treating face, décolleté and contour as a single protocol.
- If you are unsure whether you will keep the habit, buy one device. Sets reward commitment, not curiosity.
Still undecided?
Our skin quiz takes about sixty seconds and asks the four questions that actually determine which device fits — concern, sensitivity, time of day and how much of the body you want to treat.

- Which Radia mask is the best seller?
- Radia Halo. It is the full-face device with the core red and near-infrared wavelength stack, and it suits the majority of anti-aging routines.
- Do I need more than one Radia device?
- No. One full-face mask used consistently outperforms three devices used occasionally. Second devices make sense only when you are extending treatment to the neck and chest, or adding an overnight protocol.
- Is Radia Noir more effective than Radia Halo?
- No. Noir uses the same wavelengths and delivers the same treatment. The difference is the shell and finish.
- Can I use two Radia devices in the same day?
- Yes. A common pairing is a ten-minute face session in the evening and an overnight Sculpt session. Avoid treating the same area twice in one day, as cellular response saturates.
